He is very thorough when he explained my problems. He showed me on the MRI and X-ray where my problems were. He took his time with me and had excellent bedside manners. I would highly recommend him for a spinal orthopedic Dr.

After many years of neck & shoulder pain,I had my neck operated on by Dr mounts in June of this year.He was recommended to me by a local ER Dr. From the first time I met him I knew he was the right Doctor for me. I had been serching for a Dr. that I could trust & that specializes in spine surgery. Although I had to fight with my insurance co. Dr Mounts was with me every step of the way My hope is that our local hospitals will welcome Dr. Mounts on board.

Prior to meeting Dr. Mounts, I suffered from debilitating pain in my neck and back, radiating through the hips and severely limiting my active lifestyle. Dr. Mounts and his staff warmly welcomed me and took an enormous amount of time explaining my options as well as thoroughly discussing surgical procedures. Two surgeries later and I could not give Dr. Mounts more accolades. Because of his superior surgical skills, I am now returning to my previous active life, hiking, camping and fishing!

Dr. Troy Mounts is in my opinion one of the best doctors that I have seen! I have many complicated health issues and have over 15 doctors currently and have had over 20 surgeries in the last 8 years with many different types of surgeons. Dr. Mounts has done 3 spine surgeries on me in the last year and a half and I would recommend him to my own child and family. He is extremely thoughtful and experienced. He spend as much time with you as nessesary each and every visit.

I would recommend Troy Mounts because he always took the time to explain and show me on the screen exactly what needed to be done, how it would be done, and what the final result would be. After my cervical spine surgery, I only required strong pain medication for 3 or 4 days and was then able to use my routine medication for arthritis.

Dr. Mounts is a great example of deep knowledge, caring, and ease of manner. I liked that he did not rush to a diagnosis or invasive solution. I appreciated that physical therapy is an integral part of his search for relief of pain. While I saw Dr. Mounts about back pain associated with a fractured vertebra, he also discovered a discrepancy in the length of my legs that was contributing to the pain. With both problems addressed, I still grin at feeling so good.

Dr. Mounts is fabulous! From the first time I met him I felt extremely comfortable. I have full confidence in his capabilities! And now that I have had surgery, I wish I could rate him higher than 5 ?? he did a fabulous job with my surgery, and I had my 2 week follow up last week, and he was absolutely wonderful in answering all my questions and showing me the proper way to wear my brace (so much more comfortable! Lol) I would recommend him to anyone, anytime!!!

Dr. Mounts is, hands down, the best surgeon anyone could ever ask for. He is skilled, knowledgeable, innovative, and legitimately cares about his patients. I had to battle my insurance company to get my procedure approved, and he was right there with me in the trenches every step if the way. When he was finally able to work on me, he fixed an ailment that had bothered me for almost three years, and now I no longer experience any pain where he operated. He is a life-changer!
